Welcome to Summer 2026 at the Peabody Institute Library!

Peabody Summer Eats is BACK! We are so excited to bring this tradition (since 2009!) back to the Main Library Courtyard!

Beginning Monday, July 6th until Wednesday, August 13th, lunches will be served Mondays through Thursdays for children ages 0-18. For all of these dates, the program will run from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.

Each day has a different activity!

Mondays we’ll be watching a movie inside in the Teen room

Tuesdays are  “Take or Make Crafts”, where you can grab a craft kit and make it here or take it with you!

Wednesdays are “Water Play Wednesdays”, where we set up water toys outside for small children to play with.

Thursdays are “Theater Thursdays”, where a theater-related activity will take place each week.

Registration is not required.

Thank you to the Peabody Public Schools, Citizens Inn, No Child Goes Hungry in Peabody, and Project Bread for keeping our kids happy and healthy all summer!
